Air Astana chooses Aerobytes

Aerobytes is delighted to announce that
Air Astana
has selected Aerobytes for their FDM / FOQA software requirements.

Air Astana operate a fleet of A320/321s, B757s, B767s and F50s from their bases in Almaty and Astana, Kazakhstan to 25 domestic and 17 international destinations, all of which are now being monitored using Aerobytes' FDM / FOQA software. Their software was installed by Aerobytes and Air Astana personnel received training at their offices in Almaty using their own flight data.

To assist in implementing their FOQA system Air Astana employed the services of Aero-Analysis (info@Aero-Analysis.com).
Air Astana advises that within the first month of operation the airline could use historical data to identify and address trends.

How do Users Manage Corrective Actions within Aerobytes?
Once users have identified values, events of trends that are not acceptable or desirable then they must take corrective (remedial) actions to influence the statistics in the future. The process is managed within a Corrective Actions Project where users can summarize the problem, filter for certain flights and schedule updates. Once the problem is summarized users can move to another tab to set targets for improvement. The final tab allows users to record their corrective actions. The big advantage that Aerobytes users have is that they can then display the corrective actions over the statistical data so that the effect of their actions can be seen: What works, how long before it starts to work, how long does the effect last, what unexpected results may occur? This is vital information for the audit process and ensures that the lessons learnt are retained.
